PWAs are back from the dead

PWAs are back from the dead. Only weeks after killing off progressive web apps in Europe, Apple now announced their comeback. Previously they blamed EU regulations for removing the add to home screen feature. That just recently got support for push notifications and allows web apps to work offline. The reasons for Apple's U turn are unknown, but likely they made Some sort of secret deal with the EU commission, after blaming them publicly for Apple's own laziness to add new APIs required by law.
