인텔의 매출/영업이익 난으로 인해 파운드리 분사를 공식화하면서 시장의 반응이 좋은데요. 유럽의 독일, 폴란드 팹 건설을 잠정 보류하는 대신 미국은 지속하면서 재기를 노리고 있습니다. 그 와중에 AWS의 자체 AI 커스텀 칩의 패브릭 설계를 인텔 18A으로 제조한다는 것이 알려지면서 관심이 모아지고 있는데요. Inferentia나 Tranium과 같은 AI 칩은 아니지만, 초대형 클라우드 사업자인 AWS가 AI 칩을 연결하는 패브릭을 인텔 18A으로 설계한다는 것은 의미가 있습니다. Microsoft 역시 이전에 자체 칩 설계를 인텔 18A으로 한다는 말이 있었는데요.
